Yale Alumni LIVE: USS Constitution Tour and Museum Highlights
The USS Constitution, the world’s oldest commissioned warship afloat, has stories to tell, from the War of 1812 to current day Yale. One centers on Admiral Grace Murray Hopper ’30 MA, ’34 PhD, who retired aboard USS Constitution in 1986 and received the Museum’s then-highest honor, the Samuel Eliot Morison Award. On September 27, 1986 Admiral Hopper was named an Honorary Trustee of the Museum.
